Account Setup

This guide walks you through creating your Hanc.AI account, verifying your identity, and completing the initial setup.

Before You Begin

You will need:

  • Phone number — For identity verification (SMS code)
  • Email address — For notifications, password recovery, and email verification
  • 5-10 minutes — For the complete setup process

Step 1: Access the Platform

  1. Open your web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, or Edge recommended)
  2. Navigate to app.hanc.ai
  3. Click the "Sign Up" button

You can switch the registration page language using the language selector in the bottom-left corner.


Step 2: Fill In Your Details

The registration form collects your basic information:

Enter your phone number with country code. This is required for account verification.

Step 3: Phone Verification

After filling in your details, you'll receive an SMS with a 6-digit verification code.

  1. Check your phone for the SMS
  2. Enter the 6-digit code
  3. Click "Verify"
Code not arriving?
  • Check you entered the correct number
  • Wait 60 seconds before requesting a new code
  • If SMS doesn't work (e.g., landline numbers), the system will automatically try a voice call — you'll receive a phone call reading the code aloud
  • Some VoIP numbers may not be supported
Landline numbers

If your number cannot receive SMS, Hanc.AI will automatically call you and read the verification code. This works for landline and some business phone numbers.


Step 4: Complete Registration

After phone verification:

  1. Review and accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
  2. Complete the CAPTCHA verification
  3. Click "Create Account"

You'll be redirected to your dashboard automatically.


Step 5: Verify Your Email

After registration, you'll need to verify your email address to unlock all platform features.

Why verify email?

Until your email is verified, you won't be able to create or manage voice agents. You'll see an email verification banner at the top of the dashboard reminding you to verify.

How to verify

  1. Check your inbox for an email from Hanc.AI
  2. Click the verification link in the email
  3. You'll be redirected back to the dashboard with full access
Email not arriving?
  • Check your spam/junk folder
  • Click "Resend verification email" in the banner (you can resend every 60 seconds)
  • Make sure you entered the correct email during registration

Step 6: First Login Experience

When you first enter the dashboard, an onboarding tour will guide you through the platform. The tour highlights key areas and helps you create your first voice agent step by step.

  1. Click your name in the top-right corner
  2. Select "Settings""Profile"

Alternative Sign-Up: Google

  1. Click "Sign in with Google" on the registration page
  2. Select your Google account
  3. Authorize Hanc.AI access
  4. You'll be redirected to complete phone verification (still required)
  5. Your email is automatically verified (no separate email verification needed)

Account Security

Password Management

To change your password:

  1. Go to SettingsProfile
  2. Click "Change Password"
  3. Enter current password
  4. Enter new password (twice)
  5. Save changes

Forgot Password?

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter your email
  4. Check your inbox for reset link
  5. Click link and create new password

Password reset links expire after 1 hour.

Session Security

  • Sessions last for 5 days
  • Logging out clears your session
  • Use incognito/private browsing on shared computers

Troubleshooting Registration

"Email already registered"

Cause: This email was used for another account.

Solutions:

  1. Try logging in instead
  2. Use "Forgot Password" to recover access
  3. Use a different email address

"Phone number already used"

Cause: This phone was used for another account.

Solutions:

  1. Use a different phone number
  2. Contact support if this is your number

"Region not supported"

Cause: Phone verification is not available in your region.

Solutions:

  1. Try a phone number from a supported region
  2. Contact support@hanc.ai for assistance

"Verification code invalid"

Cause: Code expired or entered incorrectly.

Solutions:

  1. Request a new code
  2. Enter the code quickly (codes expire in 10 minutes)
  3. Check for typos

"Registration failed"

Cause: Technical issue or validation error.

Solutions:

  1. Refresh the page and try again
  2. Clear browser cache
  3. Try a different browser
  4. Contact support if issue persists
