Brand Usage Guide
Why This Document Exists
An affiliate partner needs the Hanc.AI brand and materials to:
- Recommend the product effectively
- Create posts and publications
- Send screenshots and visual assets
- Use approved materials professionally
But it is equally important not to create confusion and not to distort the brand.
This document sets the clear, simple rules.
The Core Principle
An affiliate partner may use the Hanc.AI brand for correct product recommendations. An affiliate partner must not misrepresent, distort, or make unauthorized claims about the brand.
Specifically, a partner must not:
- Impersonate Hanc.AI or pretend to be the company
- Distort promises about what the product does
- Use the brand in a misleading way
- Make claims that Hanc.AI does not officially make
What You CAN Use
If a material has been officially provided to you as a partner, you may use:
| Asset | Allowed |
|---|---|
| Hanc.AI logo | Yes |
| Official product screenshots | Yes |
| Approved banners | Yes |
| Approved social visuals | Yes |
| Case study materials | Yes |
| ROI materials | Yes |
| Explainer videos | Yes |
| Partner-facing brand assets | Yes |
What You CANNOT Do
| Prohibited Action | Why |
|---|---|
| Redesign the logo beyond recognition | Brand integrity |
| Publish unconfirmed claims | Misleading |
| Promise specific results without basis | Misleading |
| Use the brand as if you are a Hanc.AI employee | Impersonation |
| Present your interpretations as the company's official position | Misleading |
| Use outdated or unconfirmed pricing and promises | Inaccurate |
How to Talk About the Product Correctly
Good formulations
- "Hanc.AI helps businesses stop losing calls"
- "Hanc.AI helps automate repetitive phone interactions"
- "Hanc.AI helps with appointments, reservations, FAQs, after-hours calls, and multilingual phone availability"
Bad formulations
| Do Not Say | Why It Is Wrong |
|---|---|
| "Hanc.AI replaces all staff" | Exaggeration, misleading |
| "Hanc.AI guarantees business growth" | Unsubstantiated guarantee |
| "Hanc.AI fits every company" | Not true |
| "Hanc.AI solves every sales and support problem automatically" | Overpromising |
How to Talk About the Program Correctly
You CAN:
- Talk about the affiliate model in general terms
- Mention commission tiers (Standard / Premium)
- Explain the recurring commission logic
- Mention the x2 credits offer only if it is part of the current public promotion and active promo logic
- Mention the sub-affiliate bonus within the official program terms
You CANNOT:
- Invent your own special deals or exclusive offers
- Promise exceptions to the program rules
- Change payout logic "on your own" in conversations
- Promise special conditions without confirmation from Hanc.AI
How to Use Screenshots
Allowed
- Insert into emails
- Use in posts and publications
- Add to case study materials
- Use in partner content
Not Allowed
- Edit screenshots in a way that distorts the meaning
- Caption them with misleading claims
- Place them next to unconfirmed promises
How to Use Case Studies
Allowed
- Use as proof to support a recommendation
- Send after the first interest is shown
- Show relevant use cases matched to the prospect's niche
Not Allowed
- Present a case as a guaranteed result for everyone
- Change the facts of a case without confirmation
- Make overly strong promises based on a single example
See Case Studies for the 6 available cases you can use.
How to Use ROI Materials
Allowed
- Explain the money logic (missed calls cost real money)
- Show that lost calls, appointments, or reservations have a financial impact
- Use as support material in a conversation
Not Allowed
- Promise specific revenue without a calculation
- Use ROI as an absolute guarantee
- Argue with numbers you are not confident about
See ROI Materials for the full ROI argumentation framework.
How to Position Yourself Correctly
Correct
"I recommend Hanc.AI"
or
"I am sharing a service called Hanc.AI that could be useful for you"
Incorrect
"I am Hanc.AI"
or
"I am an official representative of Hanc.AI" — unless this has been separately agreed upon
Always make it clear that you are a partner recommending the product, not the company itself.
When in Doubt
If you are not sure:
- Whether a certain formulation is acceptable
- Whether you can use a specific asset
- Whether you can claim a specific benefit
Do not make it up on your own. The correct path:
- Check this Brand Usage Guide
- Check the Terms & Agreement Access
- If still unsure, ask the Hanc.AI team directly
Bottom Line
Brand assets help an affiliate partner look professional and credible.
But you must use them so that:
- The product is not distorted
- The program is not misrepresented
- Nothing is overpromised
- Trust in the Hanc.AI brand is preserved
